Newman Clinic delivers personalized, expert care in weight loss, concierge wellness, and hormone therapy through a convenient virtual platform. We also offer a monthly subscription service for medical weight loss management and hormone therapy. Our approach is transparent, proven, and affordable, ensuring high-quality healthcare is accessible—without the need for insurance.
To receive services, you must:
· Be 18 or older
· Live in or be physically located in one of our service states: Arizona, California, Hawaii, Ohio, or Texas (we are expanding regularly)
· Have a medical need for treatment. Some services, such as hormone therapy or weight loss management, may require lab results, which we can help facilitate.
· Seek accessible, convenient, and affordable healthcare—whether due to limited provider availability or a preference for alternative weight loss solutions.
Getting started is simple:
1. Book Visit & Complete Forms: Schedule your telehealth visit, submit payment, and complete brief health forms (some treatments may require lab work).
2. Consult with Your Provider: Meet with clinician Donna Newman, DMSc, PA-C, via HIPPA-compliant telehealth to discuss your health, goals, and treatment plan.
3. Receive Your Treatment: Medications ship directly from a licensed pharmacy to your door every 30, 60, or 90 days, based on PA Newman’s recommendation. Monthly memberships include medication costs. Prescriptions are tailored to support your health journey, with on going monitoring, refills, and adjustments as needed to ensure optimal care.
We operate on a direct-pay model and do not accept public or private health insurance or cost-sharing plans. All services are billed through one-time payments or recurring memberships. Our goal is to offer affordable, high-quality care without the constraints of insurance, and many patients find this model more cost-effective than traditional healthcare options.
Weight loss medications, including compounded Semaglutide, compounded Tirzepatide, Phentermine, Phentermine +Topiramate, and Metformin, are prescribed to support lifestyle changes like diet and exercise when specific criteria are met. These medications are most effective when combined with a structured weight management program.
To be eligible, patients must:
• Be 18 years or older and not pregnant
• Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of ≥30 kg/m² to qualify for any of the medications, or
• Have a BMI of ≥27 kg/m² with at least one weight-related risk factor (e.g., high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol) to start Phentermine, Phentermine +Topiramate, Metformin, or compounded Tirzepatide, or
• Have a BMI of ≥25 kg/m² with at least one weight-related risk factor (e.g., high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol) to start compounded Semaglutide. Compounded Semaglutide (active ingredient in Ozempic™️) and Tirzepatide (active ingredient in Mounjaro™️ and Zepbound™️), Phentermine, and Phentermine +Topiramate are prepared in licensed, U.S.-based compounding pharmacies that comply with FDA regulations. However, compounded medications are not FDA-approved and may differ in effectiveness, safety, and potential side effects compared to brand-name drugs. Newman Clinic partners exclusively with trusted 503(a) Compounding Pharmacies and 503(b) Outsourcing Facilities that adhere to strict quality and safety standards. These compounded medications are not affiliated with Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly and Company, or any other brand or pharmaceutical company. If you prefer an FDA-approved medication, please consult your personal healthcare provider.
GLP-1 side effects and contraindications are reviewed in The Newman Script, “Compounded Semaglutide Dosage Chart: Your Guide to Safe Weight Loss”.
Phentermine may cause common side effects, such as dry mouth, constipation, difficulty sleeping, dizziness, and mood or cognitive changes. Topiramate may cause tingling sensations, taste changes, memory issues, and an increased risk of kidney stones. Not recommended for individuals with heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, seizure disorder, hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, or those taking SSRIs or MAOIs. Serious risks include birth defects during pregnancy. Phentermine is contraindicated for individuals with a history of illicit drug use or substance abuse. Regular blood pressure monitoring is recommended when using phentermine, and routine electrolyte and creatinine tests, along with monthly pregnancy tests or contraception, are advised when using phentermine with topiramate.
All medications will be reviewed for specific contraindications during the intake process.
With medical interventions and lifestyle adjustments, research indicates that patients can typically lose 5-15% of their body weight over 6-18 months. However, individual results vary based on:
• Metabolism
• Adherence to treatment
• Lifestyle factors (e.g., diet, exercise, sleep, stress)
• Genetics
Extreme weight loss is not a medically recommended outcome. Our approach prioritizes healthy, sustainable progress.
Newman Clinic specializes in treating male hypogonadism, a condition where testosterone levels are abnormally low, often indicating an underlying health issue. While we focus on testosterone therapy, we recommend regular check-ins with your primary care provider to monitor overall health.
Testosterone replacement therapy may cause minor side effects, such as decreased sperm production and testicular shrinkage. If you’re concerned about these effects, consult your Newman Clinic provider for options to maintain fertility and testicular volume.
Routine labs, including total testosterone, CBC panel, and PSA (total), are required for diagnosis and ongoing refills. Medications are reviewed for specific contraindications during the intake process. When medically approved, patients receive compounded testosterone (injections or cream) from licensed, U.S.-based pharmacies that adhere to strict quality standards. We exclusively partner with trusted 503(a) and 503(b) facilities to ensure the highest level of care.
All treatments require medical evaluation and approval. The decision to proceed with treatment will be made after careful monitoring and consultation to evaluate the potential risks and benefits.
